Triangle Training

charlecote_film.jpg

This site documents Triangle Theatre's training projects and workshops. Here we offer some technical, practical and theoretical notes on the approach to training.

The items in the menu include Triangle's method of actor training, historical interpretation, long-form improvisation and immersive public engagement projects. The projects are usually spread over several days. These projects have taken place at museums and heritage sites, in education, or care settings and use techniques from a range of fields including experimental performance, interactive theatre, physical theatre and film.

Richard Talbot and Carran Waterfield has presented Immersive Museum Theatre training, presentations and performances in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra, and at several National Trust properties in the UK.

NEWS
We have recently added the Whissell & Williams archive to this site. Whissell & Williams began as Dugout!, an immersive experience for a young people's museum performance group in 2002. The project has now been running for 13 years and has grown into a 'regime' of 30 officers and has involved over 600 participants.
